Jasmine Mulvihill

Jasmine has taught across the Northern Beaches of Sydney as a junior teacher & also professionally. Throughout her years, she has learnt a range of different methods and come across swimmers with varying confidence levels. She has worked with little ones who are extremely timid and frightened, to the over-confident children – keeping us on our toes with no fear. Jasmine has loved every part of this development process and from this Little Fish was born.

Jasmine has attended seminars on the Gold Coast with Laurie Lawrence and was extremely lucky to be in the pool watching and learning his teaching methods. She has attended Austswim & Royal Life Saving courses from the Northern Beaches to Queensland and has been an Austswim accredited teacher for over 20 years.

Jasmine has always enjoyed swimming and loves to teach. She now has her own children and appreciates coming back into teaching with the added understanding from a parent’s perspective.

Melinda Brown
Growing up Melinda participated in Club Swimming and Surf Life Saving. Settling with her family in Yamba in 2010, Melinda is mother of two (both water babies who are now early tween/teens). Now she finds it very rewarding to be giving back to the activities that gave her so much enjoyment in her youth. Melinda is a volunteer with Yamba SLSC, providing water safety and coaching our local Nippers as her own children move through the program. This experience sparked her desire to become a qualified learn to swim teacher. Mel understands what a difference getting the best start in the water makes for our little ones. Not just for safety but for setting up the foundations to a life long journey enjoying time in and around the water. Melinda has a true passion for seeing kids develop water safety and swimming skills and having fun whilst doing it! She feels honoured to be working in this industry and to be part of the Little Fish team.
