Our Maclean swimming lessons are held at the Maclean Hydrotherapy Pool, located at 21 Union Street in Maclean.

Closed Monday.
Tuesday: 8:30am – 11:30am
Wednesday: 1pm – 4pm
Thursday: 8:30am – 10:30am
Closed Friday.

Medical Checklist

All families entering the pool must have completed and returned a signed medical checklist prior to lesson this is required by Maclean Community Health for insurance purposes. A doctor does not need to sign this off if no known conditions or allergies are present.

Pool Etiquette

All pre-schoolers must remain out of the pool until called by their teacher each week. No running around pool deck or diving unless instructor is present and called child to do so. To enter and exit our pool we ask you walk down the ramp and exit via the ramp unless instructed to do otherwise by teachers.

Parking

This pool has no designated parking all cars are to be parked on the street or side streets.

Pool Entrance

You will find our door alongside the Administration Office for Community Health. Walk along the path and hydrotherapy pool building is on your left.

Arrive Early

It is important to arrive 5 mins before class scheduled time but please do not enter the pool until changeover of classes & called to do so.

Shoes

Parents, Carers and Students please remove shoes upon arrival, and leave all shoes just inside the front entry / foyer area. Please collect footwear upon exiting the pool, there are no shoes allowed inside the pool facility: this includes the pool deck and inside the change rooms.

Showers and Change Rooms

Separate male and female change room facilities are available, equipped with hot showers and toilets. Please do not use soap or talcum powder as this increases the risk of falls.

Appropriate Swim Attire

If your child is under 3 / or is not yet toilet trained that they are wearing a swim nappy. Disposable ones are great & can be washed in the washing machine along with swimming costumes.

Food at the Pool

If you need to feed your child/ren please refrain from eating on the pool deck area. Feel free to use the entry foyer or office room if inside the building. You may also occupy the seat outside the main entry door for this at any time throughout your time at swimming.’

Water Temperature

Pool temperature is between 31-33 degrees which is optimum for our infants to learn & relax in the water.
